InDepth: The Minor Prophets

Their Major Messages

In thirteen weeks we will explore Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi; those who are called the twelve minor prophets. We will look at their times (to the extent that we know them), their methods and their messages, as they came and went over a period of about 350 years. We will compare their messages to those of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Daniel, to Torah (the covenant law) and look for both the major themes that run through all of the scriptures and for the special things which are unique to each prophet. In the last week we will also explore how Jesus became the final, major, minor prophet.
